Confessions of a Serial Etsy Shopper- Giveaway

Dear friends, it's that time of year again! Every Friday during lent, I will be "confessing" about shops I frequent on Etsy. This year I have decided to do a giveaway from the shops that are featured. Ok! First up.... Talula

I fell in love with her shop long ago. Her cuffs! Stunning! I asked Mr. Happiknits to buy one of her beautiful necklaces for me for Christmas (in August!!!). I needed that necklace something fierce! And I wear it ALL the time(I am wearing it in my "I Love Purple" photo on the side bar). So, first the lovely item that I will be giving away, a beautiful pair of earrings from Talula. These have vintage Amber stones in them. Sparkly! Unique! What girl doesn't love a bit of sparkle at her ears! This is what I love about Talula, she uses vintage/found pieces and turns them into OOAK pieces of wearable art. Lovely!

Every Friday througout Lent I will be "confessing" to my Etsy shopping "sins"

This week I bring you a selection of shops that I have either purchased from and will go back again, or things I have been drooling over! The first item is a super cute brooch that I purchased two of (because one was not enough! ). TraceyB designs has these cute pins made with scraps of fabric, super cute! I wear mine on my lab coat everyday!

Next up this super cute bag that I bought from Spongetta. I love, love, love it! Black and yellow are such hot colors right now! I will get alot of use out of this bag.

I also bought this totally funky ring from cookoorikoo. It is awesome! Her shop is loaded with fun goodies. I have believe it or not been trying to behave myself! So these are a couple of items that I am currently coveting...

This very cool necklace from syncopation, a reminder to follow your bliss! And last but certainly not least. This awesome journal by shoofly. It is the perfect gift for a knitter. As a matter of fact her shop is a knitter's paradise.

Part 2 in my Lenten "confessional" series. This next shop is one of my favorites! (OK they're all my favorites) But Bobbi over at Kittygrrlz knows how to spin up some good yarn porn. I check her site everyday and there is always one or two things that I am drooling over and must have immediately. She is so popular over at Etsy that, knitters, heed my warning: If you LOVE it BUY it, or someone else will!!!! That being said, Bobbi is a sweetheart and when someone (Phydeaux) beat me to buying yarn I was dreaming about, Bobbi respun me some. So she calls this "Functional Art Yarn" and it took me a few tries, but I have found it quite easy to work with. I adorn my capes with it. I could be happy just draping myself in it :) But I knit it and put the items up for sale. So go, visit, tell her I sent you, keep her spinning these gorgeous, beautiful, fun to knit yarns!
